room. Our menu consists of local German cuisine, authentic
Creole entrees, exotic shrimp and catfish dishes and good old home
style cookin'.
This restaurant was built from
recycled lumber salvaged from 1920's era buildings. Texas
artists decorate our walls with original paintings and
drawings. We are proud to showcase the artwork of Susan Lich
and Frank Bielec. The three large murals were done by an
unidentified tramp artist during the great depression. They
were rediscovered in 1998.
Chuck and Nancy Jones are
renowned across the State of Texas for their mouth-watering catfish
and Cajun style cooking. Everything that comes to you from
their busy kitchen is lovingly hand cooked with care and attention
to detail.
