Exercise Facilities

Get Fit offers a wide variety of exercise equipment, starting with the :

  • PACE circuit which combines aerobic and anaerobic stations into a complete workout for the whole body.

  • We also offer a range of cardio equipment including Precor elliptical trainers, Cybex recumbent bike, Schwinn Airdyne, stationary bikes, a stair-stepper and treadmills.  

  • Tukong Cardio Classes offered Tuesday mornings at 8:15 am.

  • Our weight training area includes a Precor multifunctional trainer, Smith machine, bench press with Olympic size barbells, dumbbells up to 50 lbs., along with a couple of other cable machines and exercise bands and balls.  

  • Also available are a tanning bed and a group exercise room.

  • WEIGHT WATCHERS: Meets Monday evenings.  Weigh in: 4:45pm  Meeting begins at 5:30pm.

ABOUT US

On February 1, Steve and Karen Kaiser's brain-child, Get Fit, moved from it's former location on High Street into their new red and blue building on Amber, just one block over from Hwy. 87.  The new facility is spacious and well organized with plenty of room for different types of exercise needs and equipment. There is a cardiovascular area, for building stamina, conditioning the heart and burning fat. Weight training space and equipment,  a large, open area for aerobics or other group exercises and a tanning bed, offered for use by the public, as well as club members. 

As Karen says, “Regular exercise is good for every age, up to five days a week, for at least 30 minutes or more. It helps build stamina and burn calories. Even 10 minutes is better then nothing.” The “Free Weight” area has a TV monitor showing the different exercises and the proper way to do them. This enables one to go at their own pace.

A Nursery area is available where children can stay and watch videos while mom and dad are doing their exercises.

Helping out at the center are Karen’s dad Cliff Williams who goes by Poppy, Marjorie Ridley, Shelly Pankratz and of course Karen.  It’s about having fun while getting fit.
