GADDIS MEMORIAL UNITED METHODIST CHURCH OF COMFORT
Presents:
SHINING THROUGH
Gaddis Memorial United Methodist Church of Comfort will be conducting a five-session study entitles "Shining Through" on ways to make sharing our faith with our children a way of life. It will be offered from 9:30 to 11:30AM on June 21 - 25 and led by Lois Duewall. This is the same time as the Community Vacation Bible School being held at Gaddis Memorial UMC.
Having a child in Vacation Bible School is NOT a pre-requisite for attending the study. You don't even have to be a parent...maybe you are a grandparent, aunt or just someone who wants to help children.
If you do have a child or children attending the VBS drop them off at 9:00AM, get them settled, gather for fellowship and begin the study at 9:30AM.
The class will be held in the office building of the church. Space is limited to 15 and the class is open to anyone in the community. Please call the church office to register. 830.995.3813

Preschool and Kinder Programs
It is very important to us that each child's needs are met within our
program, and that what the children learn is developmentally appropriate,
as the National Assonciation for the Education of Young Children advises.
We address all of the different developmental areas (social &
emotional, cognitive, and physical) during our daily activities. Multiage
classrooms allow for leadership and growth for all of our students. Weekly
chapel celebrates the certainty of God's deep love for us and His presence
in our lives.
Toddler Time
This class is a parent-participation morning designed to create an atmosphere where a child and parent can safely and comfortably:
- develop social skills and explore age appropriate art and sensory materials.
- participate in crafts, music, games and stories
- gain confidence in their individual abilities through co-play and parent-involved time together.
A time to offer positive and interactive learning experiences for
parent and child.
Toddler Class
What a unique opportunity for your two-year-old to learn and grow in his or her own setting, as parents drop teir children off for the morning. With a curriculum in place, toddlers will engage in learning experiences with their peers as they prepare to go to preschool next year.
